Tell us what happened

Include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, Sorati version/build from Settings, what you were doing, and the steps to reproduce the problem. Mention whether the app was offline or using Apple Intelligence or ChatGPT. A screenshot with private details removed can help.

Never send passwords, verification codes, ChatGPT tokens or an unredacted diary backup. Diagnostics are optional: inspect them in Settings before choosing to share them. They are not sent automatically.

Where is my diary?

Sorati stores your diary on your device. The publisher has no server copy and cannot recover lost meals, photos or training records. Export a backup before changing devices or removing the app. You can also opt into daily copies in Settings. They go to your own iCloud Drive under Sorati, with the last seven copies kept for each device. Restore a copy using the app’s backup import. Turning copies off stops new files; delete existing ones in Files if you no longer want them. These copies do not synchronize your diary between devices. Protect every backup: it contains diary data and photos.

How do I disconnect ChatGPT?

Open Sorati Settings and disconnect the ChatGPT connection. This removes local credentials and requests remote revocation. If the app cannot confirm revocation, also remove Sorati’s connection in ChatGPT settings. Deleting a meal does not delete information already processed by OpenAI.

Why is analysis unavailable?

Apple Intelligence depends on your device, OS, supported language, settings and model readiness. ChatGPT analysis needs an eligible account and is subject to OpenAI’s availability and usage limits. Food search, manual logging and training remain available without either provider. Sorati has no subscription that unlocks provider access.

How do I delete my account or data?

There is no Sorati server account to delete. Remove local records in the app; use your device’s app/data controls to remove the installation’s data. Disconnect ChatGPT first because uninstalling does not guarantee deletion of Keychain credentials. Delete unwanted exported backups and iCloud Drive copies, and manage device backups separately. When will the App Store release be available?

The public release is in preparation. This website does not currently offer a public download or collect waitlist email addresses.
